[Luminiscense]

Pretty good

The animation was very well done and the song choices were heartfelt and fantastic.
The only problem I had with this animation is the relative volume of the dialogue to the music. For example, during the second song that comes on, it comes in very strongly and then completely fades... and then comes back up again and then fades again... "well.. I think we all have our own destiny." (song fades completely and then abruptly starts again) and it's just very strange and puts me off. The male's voice has a lot of bass frequencies that the music is drowning out, and I would recommend a pop-filter on your microphone or to step farther from your mic and apply a compressor because I'm using headphones and I still can't hear him or understand what he's saying sometimes.
Sorry if I'm being overcritical but I'm a recording artist and these things sort of bother me but I understand that not everyone pays as much attention to these things as I do. So that's why you get an 8 :)
overall a pleasant experience, for the most part I was hooked.

Sorry but I have to agree with Jesustwatwhatever. In my opinion, you have a lot of cool things going on, this firefly can be used at this stick thing and it sets you on fire so you can do something else. This key can be used to open a treasure chest, and that's all great and dandy but honestly I think the problem here is
bad conveyance.

I have no idea where to go or what I'm supposed to be doing, and I definitely most certainly agree this game would be much better with some sort of goal, because so far my experience with this game is just incredibly dry. That's my opinion, I hope it helps.

Holy crap, I love it

Usually side-scroller games for me are pretty boring and repetitive but the combos... the ability to air-combo/switch weapons in the middle of a combo really keeps me entertained. The speed isn't too fast or too slow, it's just right to have powerful and satisfying gameplay. The graphics are very well animated and drawn, as well as interactive backgrounds, I love this game. You're a genius.

Sweeeet

This is awesome! it reminds me of the kind of stuff that I like to write. Powerful and heroic, yet with the drum n bass that makes you wanna run. I disagree with the guy below me, the instrument at 0:45 is interesting! I'm refreshed that you're doing something out of the ordinary and that you're not confined to making something sound like everything else. I love that man, please keep it up.
